"We dream of a world where every single person knows what they love to do - and they do that shit every fucking day. we would wake up at 6am and drink coffee. we would eat some freshly picked fruits for breakfast. we would do sit ups and pushups and pullups. we would play basketball with the kids. we would write a story under a shady tree. we draw some illustrations in our studio overlooking a pond. we would shoot a turkey with an arrow and eat it for lunch. we would have some super hot meadow sex with the wife. we would take treehouse nap. we would build a stone igloo. we would jump out of a tree onto a deer and cut its throat with a knife and eat its juicy steaks for dinner. we would eat a crispy salad fresh out of the garden. we would make a bonfire. we would drink home brewed beer with our friends and family . we would smoke wild tobacco out of a handmade pipe. we would take gravity bong hits in a secret swimming hole. we would read a family bedtime story. we would go to sleep in our homemade house. we would dream the best dream we had ever dreamed - and then we'd realize we weren't dreaming after all."

TEEJAY MOCLINSON "We would like to live in harmony with nature while using our hands and minds to build a sustainable future. We want to remember and honor the spirit of animals and plants. Learning from nature's systems is something that everyone is forgetting. We want to give back to nature as much as it has given and taught us. Farming and building important functional objects that helps us achieve our goal is what we would like to focus on. Our ideal setting would be on a 56 acre plot with 20 acres cleared for pasture and growing. The wooded area would sustain us from mushroom hunts to using trees as lumber. We would be with our most loved ones and sit around a fire every night. We know this is going to happen."

"We would live the farthest distance from Manhattan that a subway could take us. We would eat take out, and watch netflix movies. We would take long naps during the daytime, most of the time cuddled up next to one of our warmest puppies. Sweatpants would be our uniform. Riding bikes and dancing would be our exercise. Beards would be grown. Great ideas would find their way into drawings. Drawings would find their way into the hands of others. All would be good."

"we are somewhere - it could be many places but not any place. there are requirements. when we are quiet, it is quiet. when we turn out the lights, it is dark, unless the moon is very full. when it is, we stay up very late and have dinner with friends. our friends are more than friends. they are conspirators. we plot and invent and manipulate our physical environment to develop models that others can learn from and have use for. but we also share moments that involve no doing at all, that involve nearly nothing and nobody. and these are not sad moments. these are some of the most thrilling. we are just being."

"We live on an island where Cara Cara navel oranges appear at the sound of a double-clap as the sun turns on and off simultaneously. Clap-on oranges and sunlight give us the sustenance we need to avoid scurvy and also provides a means of photosynthesis for other plants to grow. We also eat these plants. John Locke cloned himself, and thus the Lockes surround the perimeter of the island, protecting us from piranhas by spearing them with outdated cell phone antennae. Pictionary is set up every 1/2 a mile so boredom doesn't exist and the native squirrels get together every Thursday night to DJ at an island-wide party where everyone dances on a clap-on solar=powered light-up disco floor. Then when we're tired we retreat to our suspended low-lying cloud poufs and dream about oranges...and so on and so forth."

"The perfect life starts the exact same way today started. With the earth rotating just fast enough to catch the sunlight at 6am. We awake to the crow's ka-kaw as it leads us to places we already know exist. These places make up moments in time that have yet to be witnessed, but have already been written in the history books long before we were born. This is called realization. And we make our peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every day, thinking that it's better to can our own jam with berries we hand-picked, than it is to buy processed, suger-packed, store bought slime. We realize this is something called home-grown. We call this our duty to do things ourselves. We thrive. We hunt with only the most cunningness of brethren. These old souls show us how to sharpen our weapons so we can slay wooly mammoths with enhanced ease, poise, gusto and maximum efficiency. We build endurance from their wisdom and scrawl inspiration upon the walls. We'll laugh. We wouldn't mind drawing every single day...KA KAW!!!!!!!!!!!!."

"We would live life on the lamb. Money would not be our objective and imagination would be the subject we would paint on the canvas of life. Instead of being separated from God's creation, we would be of it. Nature would crash us upon the rocks of her immortal beauty. Self-actualization would swell our huge brains. We would learn the secrets that have been forgotten. After we had sought adventure in the world, we would settle down and learn about the little details in our backyard, hopefully on the northwest peninsula of Washington where everything in nature is carpeted in a luscious green. Life would be simple. No distractions."

"We would live in the woods with our dogs, be it in the trees, a fort, a hut. We would eat only from what we would grow ourselves, or go for a walk picking wild blackberries. Ideally, we would feed our dogs whatever they hunted, but we know that that is too dangerous and will probably have to feed them dog food.We would share the land with anyone who entered, be it creature or human. Although we think humans are creatures as well. We would have internet and video games still, but they would be our only connection to the world, besides when visiting family. We would fish all the time, only keeping the ones big enough to eat. And we would find a way to use every piece from it. On every nice sunny day we would nap under a tree in a field on our dogs. We would do at least one piece of art every day.We will be a true community, each person with a thing to provide for the group. We will have a movie night every friday, and book reading night every monday. We will raise chickens. We will never kill them, only harvest their eggs. We will never kill deer. We will be friends with them. We will heal all animals that need our help.We will listen to the gargle of the stream everyday, until the day we die."

"We will spend all day harmonizing with our past, present and future, on our own human- and solar-powered secret island. We will grow and cook our own food, build our own houses and surround ourselves with the best of friends, books and campfires.
We will build stories together and make the most important (and hilarious) drawings. We will get around by walking, biking, hiking, swimming, canoeing and flying and other human- and solar-powered means.

We will help each other---a real community---by building, growing, and learning together.

We will get dirty."

PHASE ONE

D. UNSER "We would live on a hill, overlooking the ocean, in a home made of glass which is entirely self-sustaining. There is a deep and plentiful Horchata well, dug by French Philanthropists in the early 1910s who used the island as a safe haven during the war, where an endless supply of rice water awaits to satiate our thirst. A group of wild dogs who once called the nearby jungle home will become common place on our grounds, partaking in long games of RISK and smoking pipes every half past the hour. Our newfound companions, with whom we now share secrets each night before bedtime, would escort us into town, the musty scent of pipe tobacco lingering on their fur. The local children, upon seeing us, would spill from the interiors of the small town and there would be Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream sandwiches for all. We would purchase vegetables (for our famous salad) and classy reading materials (not for our famous salad). Upon returning home we would pick fruit from our 100 acres of Orchard; Mangos, Kiwis, Wonder Nuts (nuts whose value is equal to that of diamonds)….and settle in for a night of Pictionary with the forest spirits (they always win because they cheat, but it’s ok, because they always bring the beer)."
